Cozies was first started in 1986 as an American burger restaurant in Gorleston-On-sea, Norfolk. The restaurant took its name from the 'Cosies' of Gorleston's Old Pier and successfully established itself has a regular haunt for the locals. That success meant the business grew and branched out into onsite catering serving barbeque and traditional hog roast over open charcoal fire pits uniquely hand built for the job. Services were then expanded with the purchase of catering trailers and mobile and indoor bars allowing the business to cater to a wider audience no matter what the occassion. The restaurant remained the backbone of the business for 35 years and in April 2021 ceased trading due to the pandemic. The restaurant has seen four generations pass through its doors with locals coming back time and time again. In a change of events the restaurant business has been able to open again within the Mariners Compass public house on Middleton Road, Gorleston-on-Sea with a revised menu.
